Coming to the end of the year…

We haven’t got many seminars left this year before our first group of exams in July, and we think that the time has been well spent. One of the strengths of our school is that we do not teach online but face-to-face, including a great amount of practical hands-on time. Our students are our greatest resource and we try to take care of them not only by guiding them carefully though all the subject material, but making sure they are well fed while they are with us, and that they get enough fresh air!

Our modules have all been carefully planned and written, and have been given an enthusiastic response so far for their thoroughness. One practising herbalist was reported to have said, ‘This is the best course for training herbalists that I have ever seen…’

We have enjoyed teaching these modules and look forward to the next intake of students for the academic year 2016-2017.

Our website is nearing completion, which is very exciting for us. In it we will have all the relevant details prospective students will need to know in order to gauge whether our course is for them. The course is to train competent Medical Herbalists who can do physical examinations and take relevant case histories, who have a deep knowledge of disease processes and understand the therapeutic actions of a large number of herbs and how to combine them in an effective and safe prescription. We do not water down the course, cut things out, or teach by video. This means our course is long. But it’s good!
